Real Estate Weekly, August 25, 1993
The Halstead Property Company, one of the largest residential real estate brokerage firms in Manhattan, has acquired Carnegie Hill Properties, Inc., a residential real estate brokerage with a strong niche on the upper east side of Manhattan.
The acquisition will add 15 experienced salespeople to Halstead's approximately 150 salespeople in its three offices. Joining Halstead as a senior manager will be Carnegie Hill Properties President Susan Gregg Renfrew who founded the company in 1988. She is currently co-chair of the residential committee of the Real Estate Board of New York.
Halstead has leased an additional 2,500 square feet of office space next door to its East Side office at 81st Street and Madison Avenue to accommodate this and other planned expansion.
