GFC Capital opens in Florida
Real Estate Weekly, August 25, 1993
GFC Capital Resources Group, the Manhattan-based real estate finance firm, has expanded into Florida, opening an office in the heart of Miami. The move broadens the firm's East Coast market penetration and represents its first presence in the South. Allen I. Gross, president, made the announcement.
GFC senior vice president and Florida real estate veteran Henry Rodstein will spearhead the new operation, which is located at 1401 Brickell Avenue. The Miami staff will specialize in residential mortgage banking and brokerage, and commercial sales and finance on a statewide level. Rodstein brings to the firm more than 25 years of real estate experience, most recently at his own mortgage brokerage firm, the H.R. Mortgage & Realty Company, and earlier at Pearce, Mayer & Greer, Inc., New York's Chemical Bank, and other recognized industry institutions.
