SL Green named manager for IDCNY buildings

In an addition to its asset management portfolio, S.L. Green Real Estate, Inc. has been named leasing and managing agent for the two showroom/office buildings comprising the International Design Center of New York (IDCNY) in Long Island City.
The buildings, which opened in 1985 and today constitute the largest contract furnishings mart in the Northeast, contain over a million square feet of space for designers, architects, engineers and related firms.
Stephen Green said his company will focus its energy's "on improving, revitalizing and repositioning the IDCNY for the '90's."
Located near Citicorp's 1.2 million-square-foot office building in the emerging Long Island City business district, the IDCNY is situated just minutes away from midtown Manhattan and New York City airports.
