Morgan Stanley awards contract

McCann, Inc, a leading construction management and general construction contracting firm has been awarded a $7 million contract for the construction of Morgan Stanley's newest trading floor and executive office space The project, which is to begin in June and to be completed in three months will encompass on one floor, 60,000 square feet, consisting of executive office space, and a fully equipped trading floor.
The offices and computer facility will be located at 1221 Sixth Avenue on the fifth floor In addition to the executive offices, the computer floor will be fully equipped for trading and there will be a backup system of uninterrupted power on the third floor.
The construction involves complete interior construction, including new offices, computer floor for trading, comprehensive security, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems.
