F.M. Ring modernizes 251 Park Avenue South

F.M Ring Associates, as part of its ongoing multi-million dollar modernization program involving all of its Manhattan office buildings, has completed lobby improvements at 251 Park Avenue South and a full-time staff is now on duty serving tenants and visitors of the office tower.

The Ring properties include over a dozen buildings in the Midtown South area as well as 20 West 47th Street in the uptown diamond/jewelry district and 17 West 60th Street in the Lincoln Center area.

According to Frank Ring, president of the 49-year old full service real estate company, the 16-story 251 Park Avenue South now boasts a freshly steam-cleaned facade, a distinctively restored marble lobby and entranceway, and new high speed computerized elevators. Modern elevator cabs will soon be in place.

Focusing on his next major renovation, Ring said that work would soon begin at the firm's flagship property, the 21-story, 200,000-square-foot office building at 212 Fifth Avenue, at the southwest corner of 26th Street across from Madison Square Park. The planned modernization will include a complete lobby restoration, extensive exterior steam cleaning, four new passenger elevator cabs and a fully renovated show floor.

"We're totally committed to improving and bringing all of our buildings to the highest possible level of competitiveness in the marketplace," asserted Ring, who noted that major renovations were currently underway in several other Ring properties.
