NYARM holds membership party
The New York Association of Realty Managers (NYARM) will hold its annual membership party on June 26 at the Waterfront Crabhouse in Long Island City at 6:30 p.m. The meeting, which acknowledges the contribution of current members and welcomes prospective members, is free.
According to Donna Klein, NYARM executive director, "the June meeting is important. It's the start of NYARM's yearly membership drive and it's an opportune time for people who are interested in joining the organization to meet the membership in a relaxed and social atmosphere." NYARM's membership year starts on July 1.
The meeting will also celebrate the graduates of NYARM's certification program, the professional management program that provides education and training for building owners, managers, supervisors and maintenance personnel. Upon completion of the requirements, "NYARM" (New York Accredited Realty Manager) certification is granted to the candidates. This certification is recognized and approved by both the New York State Division Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).
