ESG to lease 850 Third

Real Estate Weekly, July 7, 1993

The Edward S. Gordon Company, Inc. (ESG) has been named exclusive leasing agent for 850 Third Avenue, the distinctive 500,000-square-foot midtown office tower that occupies the entire westerly blockfront between 51st and 52nd Streets. Stephen B. Siegel, ESG's president, made the announcement.

The ESG. team of Edward Goldman, Mitchell E. Rudin and Snezana Anderson will represent Prudential Insurance Company of America, which recently assumed ownership of the 21-story tower. Gordon Property Advisors, ESG's new asset management department, will oversee and coordinate this important assignment.

Featuring an attractive tinted glass and anodized aluminum facade atop a polished black granite base, 850 Third Avenue offers flexible floorplates ranging from 36,000 square feet to 5,000 square feet. Its primary office tenant, Citibank, occupies approximately 160,000 square feet in the building.
