Columbia House takes 132,000 sf - leases space in McGraw Hill Building in Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York

Columbia House Company has leased 132,000 square feet at 1221 Avenue of the Americas, also known as the McGraw Hill Building, in Rockefeller Center.

The 15-year lease for three floors was negotiated by Allan L. Stein, vice president of marketing of Rockefeller Center Management Corp., and Martin Turchin, vice chairman of Edward S. Gordon, on behalf of Columbia House Company.

Columbia House Company is a joint venture owned by Sony and Time Warner and is a music and video club. The company will be moving from the CBS building at 51 West 52 Street.
