Sam Goody moves flagship store to 1211 Avenue of the Americas - New York, New York

Sam Goody's National Flagship store will be moving across the street on Avenue of the Americas.

Minneapolis-based Musicland Group, Inc. leased 25,000 square feet of ground-flOor retail space at 1211 Avenue of the Americas, owned, managed and leased by JMB Realty Corp. The store will be moving from 1290 Avenue of the Americas.

The retail lease follows two major office leases with News America and The CIT Group. The two previous transactions total more .than 410,000 square feet.

Edward Brock of Williams Real Estate, Inc. represented Musicland in the transaction and JMB's Steve P. Morrows and Joseph T. Wright represented the landlord.
