Five new office tenants sign at Three Park Avenue

Five office tenants have recently leased space at Three Park Avenue, a 41-story tower at the corner of Park Avenue and 34th Street, announced Charles Steven Cohen, president/CEO of Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, exclusive leasing and managing agents. These transactions cover over 52,000 square feet, with aggregate rentals in excess of $25 million.

Inner City Broadcasting Corporation leased 35,530 square feet on the entire 41st floor and part of the 40th floor for offices, radio studios, etc. Taking the top of the 41-story building, Inner City was represented by Richmond McCoy, president, and Linda LeSage, vice president of The RMC Group.

Inner City operates radio stations WBLS-FM and WLIB-AM in the New York metropolitan area and two in California.

Tietex Corporation, a textile manufacturer, leased 3,850 square feet on the 35th floor for offices and showroom. The firm was represented by Stanley Kleger of Murray Hill Properties Corporation.

Westin Hotels Company, the international hotel resort chain, took 4,720 square feet on the 37th floor. They were represented by Henry Goodfriend of Riverbank Realty Company.

Lavazza Premium Coffee Corporation, the prominent international coffee manufacturer, leased 5,975 square feet on the 35th floor. They were represented by Jeffrey Rosenblatt of Newmark Real Estate Services, Inc.

CMP Publications, Inc., a major publishing company, opened their New York City offices on the 31st floor in 6,685 square feet. The tenant was represented by Herb Goldberg and Israel Jungreis of Edward Warren & Co.

Glenn J. Elliott, vice president of Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, represented the ownership.

These tenants join Hoechst Celanese, Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Conrail, FDIC, Japan Airlines and Kawasaki.

Three Park Avenue, for the first time in many years, offers tenants full tower floors of 23,000 square feet each. Three Park's tower floors provide an unusually attractive layout with 12 corner offices each. There are a select number of pre-built smaller office suites.
