Medical accounting firm renews
One of the largest medical software firms in the country has renewed its lease for its midtown Manhattan facility.
Shared Medical Systems, based in Malvern, Pennsylvania, will keep its New York office at Two Penn Plaza. SMS designs and manages software packaging for hospitals, clinics, doctors, nursing homes and any operations related to the medical field.
The 5-year lease for approximately 15,000 square feet carries an aggregate rent of approximately $2 million.
Franklin Speyer and John Peters of Cushman & Wakefield represented SMS in negotiations with Kevin Wang of Mendik Realty.
