New tenants at 750 Lexington

Real Estate Weekly, Sept 22, 1993

Two tenants have recently signed leases at 750 Lexington Avenue, International Plaza at 59th Street. These two transactions cover nearly 20,000 square feet and aggregate rentals exceeding $6 million, announced Charles Steven Cohen, president/CEO of Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, exclusive leasing and managing agents.

The new 31-story tower is now 98 percent leased and occupied.

Sterling Who's Who, Inc., a major publishing firm, leased 17,250 square feet on the entire fourth floor, the last available full floor. The firm, opening its first Manhattan office, was represented by David Post of Julien J. Studley, Inc.

Colonial Navigation Company, Inc., the New York agency for an international shipping group, leased 2,697 square feet on the 26th floor. Colonial, which relocated from downtown, was represented by Ephriam Hirsch of Howard Stotsky Real Estate.

Richard M. Warshauer, senior vice president of Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, represented the ownership in both transactions.

The two companies join Ebel (USA), Calinoff & Katz and Monitor Company as the building's newest tenants.

750 Lexington Avenue is a 31-story granite and glass building designed by Murphy/Jahn. The only remaining suites are 3,005, 3,120 and 3,450 square feet each, available for immediate occupancy.
