Herbert nears completion on projects in London

Herbert Construction (UK) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of New York-based Herbert Construction Company, reports that two of its most visible London projects - one at Heathrow Airport and the other at the National Film Theatre - are both on schedule and expected to be completed before the end of the summer.

At Heathrow, the company is constructing Singapore Airlines new Silver Kris First Class and Business Lounge. Appointed by architect Gordon Lindsay, Herbert is providing a full design and build service, including incorporating Heathrow's intricate security system into all of the new mechanical and electrical systems that are being installed.

On behalf of the British Film Institute, Herbert is refurbishing all of the common corridors as well as constructing new projection booths at the National Film Theatre on South Bank. The work was commissioned by Avery Associates.
