The Show: FOODEX JAPAN is the largest food and beverage show in Asia. At FOODEX JAPAN 2002, the U.S. pavilion was one of the largest country pavilions, with 190 U.S. companies participating. Japan, America's largest market for agricultural exports, purchased $1 1.3 billion worth of agricultural, fish and forestry products in 200 1-$4.8 billion of which were in the consumer-oriented category. FOODEX JAPAN is organized by the Japan Management Association, comprised of 90,000 food industry professionals from throughout Asia.
