New textile patterns - Product Spotlight

Nursing Homes, Oct, 2003

Carnegie, a manufacturer of contract textiles, announces two new additions to its Philosophy collection, a range of textiles designed to enhance the healing and wellness experience in healthcare environments. Like all Philosophy textiles, the new patterns--Harmony and Equilibrium--were designed to explore the impacts of light, space, dimension, texture, and color in nurturing the psychological needs of residents.

Harmony and Equilibrium incorporate purposeful imperfections to tell a story. They are designed to resonate with users at an emotional level and bring comfort into the environment. In addition, handcrafted items encourage contemplation of the processes by which they're made and the common bonds between cultures and traditions. As a result, these patterns not only connect with, but also nourish, the spirit.
