Colonial Medical Assisted Devices has partnered with Skil-Care to produce a new Gel-Foam Heel Protector for the long-term care industry.
This protector combines comfortable, resilient foam with gel to relieve heel pressure. A water-based gel insert "floats" the heel while simultaneously cooling it, to reduce skin-damaging perspiration. It is covered with soft-brushed polyester fabric that prevents skin shearing and friction.
The Gel-Foam Heel Protector is durable and easily launderable.
