Bariatric Lifting Systems

Nursing Homes, Jan, 2005

The Bravo Twin Cassette Bariatric Lifting System from ARJO is designed to lift and transfer patients weighing up to 900 lbs. The system provides greater resident comfort by using two lifting cassettes in tandem. The resident can be semireclined and rotated to a fully upright seated position using the battery-powered hand control. A wide range of sling sizes and designs is available. A bariatric resident can be weighed with the optional scale attachment.

ARJO also offers the TENOR Mobile Floor Lifter. With a safe working load of 704 lbs, it is a safe, dignified lift for heavier patients and is safe and easy for staff to handle and maneuver. The lift's large casters and aluminum frame make it lightweight but sturdy. Electronic chassis legs for opening and closing provide maneuverability around wide chairs and in tight spots. There are no wires or cables to get in the way. The TENOR is available with a scale, and a variety of bariatric slings can be used with the TENOR.
