Using Prismatic[TM] carpet fiber from Solutia, Pacificrest adds three commercial carpets--Chicago, St. Louis, and Memphis--to its Big Cities Collection.

The Prismatic fiber uses light and its refraction against various surfaces to create up to 26 tonal effects, and multiple colors of high-and low-luster yarns produce dimension, color, and depth.

Chicago, St. Louis, and Memphis are available in 24 colorways that coordinate with Pacificrest's Pave--a solid-color, level, cut-and-loop textured product--and Cristal III, a solid-color cut pile, both available in 151 standard colors. Custom colorations are always available.

Crafted from Solutia's Ultron[R] VIP Nylon 6,6 and backed by a 10-year fiber wear warranty, the Big Cities Collection is cleanable and durable. Royalguard soil-resistant treatment and Pacificrest's woven polypropylene/ActionBac[R] backing system are standard. Performance backings are also available, including the environmentally responsible E-LOKBioBak[TM] system, which incorporates primary backings made using a bio-based polyurethane chemistry derived in part from soybeans, a 100% renewable natural resource. Its nonwoven secondary backings are made of 100% postconsumer materials, such as recycled soda bottles.
