Access Control System - General Meters - Brief Article

Nursing Homes, April, 2001

General Meters announces the Universal Card Access and Security System[TM] (UCA), a comprehensive, easy-to-use computerized security system for medical facilities that offers cost and performance advantages over conventional lock-and-key doors. The UCA system manages all types of security sensors.

Forced door, door ajar, fire alarm, smoke detectors, unusual motion and breaking glass are a few examples of alarm conditions the system can detect. These alarm conditions are consolidated and displayed on the Master Security Monitor in icon form, with preset messages for easy reading and rapid interpretation. A single unit can handle up to 32 doors.
