Air purifier

Nursing Homes, April, 2004

The Airshower from Airsonett is a self-contained mobile air purifier that delivers "clean room" quality air directly to a resident's breathing zone. The Airsonett Airshower removes at least 99.95% of airborne particles greater than 0.3 micron such as viruses, bacteria, mite pollution, and pollen. Air from the Airsonett Airshower is lightly cooled one or two degrees below room temperature to descend slowly over the resident's head. Purified unmixed air is supplied directly to the breathing zone while contaminants are flushed away.

Purified air is delivered through the patented AirSon air-supply nozzle, positioned about 20" above the resident's head. The unit height is adjustable. The Airshower has a fine filter with a pre-ionizing chamber that results in HEPA-type filtration, a silent fan motor, an air cooler element, and an electronic module with control panel.
