Period Carpeting Designs - Brief Article

Nursing Homes, June, 2001

Durkan Hospitality's new Canterbury Collection is inspired by 19th-century design. It incorporates Italian and Greek influences and motifs associated with the Federal and French Empire periods. The designs are organized and orderly, with a strong, masculine look that blends with traditional English decor.

Gold tones are used throughout the collection. Browns, rusts and browned greens give the palette an updated twist. Olive leaves appear throughout the coordinating patterns. The Canterbury Collection features nine broadlooms, two border designs, one corridor pattern and one four-door rug.
