Confidential Document Containers - Product Spotlight

Nursing Homes, June, 2003

To help companies meet HIPAA demands, Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) has created a Confidential Document Program that consists of four sturdy, tamper-resistant containers for the secure document storage and disposal needs of entire facilities. Bach RCP Confidential Document Container includes keyed lock storage and a narrow, recessed paper slot that prevents unauthorized removal.

For operations that require large capacity, RCP has Roll Out Containers in two sizes--65 or 95 gallons. Each is constructed with thick, durable, plastic for secure containment. Both models have wheels for fast, mobile collection.

The Plaza[TM] Confidential Document Container has a 50-gallon capacity, and its aesthetic design permits it to be placed in any public area. In addition, it has a side-mounted hinged door for full access without heavy lifting. The Plaza also includes a complimentary document storage bag for easy removal and it is constructed with thick, reinforced plastic for added security.

RCP's Metal Confidential Document Container is designed for extra storage surface and security. Its thick, "safe-like" frame includes a steel compound. Its sturdy design also incorporates a flat surface and a convenient side entry, allowing heavier office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, or printers to be placed on top. RCP's Metal, Container can hold up to 36 gallons and is 31" high.

RCP also offers Slim Jim[R] Confidential Document Containers. Available in two sizes, each with a flat top and side-entry door, the Slim: Jims can be placed tinder desks and tables, between, pieces of office equipment, and in smaller rooms where bigger storage containers will not fit.
