Powers offers the LM490 and LM495 tempering valve series designed for lavatory, hot water heater, and multifixture and tempered water applications. Each series is available in 1/2", 3/4", and 1" sizes and includes union inlets for ease of service; factory-installed check valves to prevent cross-flow; standard inlet screens to filter debris; locking temperature adjustment; paraffin-based actuation technology for speed of response; low-flow temperature control; and solid brass construction.

Providing temperature control at the point of source (LM490) and the point of use (LM495) creates a water delivery system that provides redundant protection against scalding, as well as minimizes the risks associated with Legionella.
