Vigil[R] Health Solutions, Inc., provides emergency-response and monitoring solutions for every budget and care continuum. The product line includes nurse call, wireless nurse call, two-way voice nurse call, wireless pendants, and a unique noninvasive monitoring system for dementia residents. Vigil System version 2.8 is built upon existing software to integrate several new functions, including a scheduled messaging feature, which allows management of long-term care facilities to program the system to automatically send reminders or messages directly to staff pagers or phones at any time. Messages can be sent once or at recurring intervals. Scheduled paging provides facilities with additional flexibility to manage staff and customize residents' care, such as reminding staff to carry out incontinence management programs.
