Nursing Homes, August, 2006
Primex Wireless, Inc., has introduced the Primex Wireless Code Blue Digital Timer, providing reliable elapsed time during life-threatening emergencies. When powered by the company's GPS wireless transmitter and used in conjunction with its line of healthcare-specific clocks, it achieves accurate time throughout an entire facility. The Primex Wireless Code Blue Digital Timer integrates seamlessly with existing code blue systems. When a code blue status is initiated, a relay/pulse is sent to the timer, which triggers it to begin counting up. When not in use for code blue situations, the timer also functions as a synchronized digital clock. The timer includes a battery backup to ensure the clock continues to function if power to the code blue system is interrupted.
