personal income in the national income and product accounts because of
differences in coverage, in the methodologies used to prepare the
estimates, and in the timing of the availability of source data.
(4.) The metropolitan area definitions used by SEA for its personal
income estimates are the new county-based definitions issued by the
Office of Management and Budget in June 2003 (with revisions released
February 2004, March 2005, December 2005, and December 2006) for
federal statistical purposes.
