In our June 2001 cover story, "Echo Boomerang," we incorrectly cited the number of adults ages 20 to 34 living at home. The correct number is 12 million. When 18- and 19-year-olds are included, the total rises to 18 million. In addition, the analysis illustrated by "The Early Bird Returns" chart should have been attributed to Frances Goldscheider. We regret the errors.
