Fred Smith is a brilliant choice as CEO of the Year ("Leader of the Pack," Cover Story, June). When he filed his original flight plan, a lot of people said it couldn't be done, but he transformed a plain brown, boring business into a hot purple and orange force.
History will prove that FedEx really is changing the world. I can't imagine a higher calling for a CEO.
