Economic Union, ALRIGHT - online markets - Brief Article

Chief Executive, The, April, 2001 by Sonja Sherwood

EUROPE'S B2B online markets currently account for only 1.5 percent of all European business, or $200 billion euros. That number will grow to 1.8 trillion euros by 2004, forecasts NYC-based Internet research firm Jupiter MMXI. Yet at the same time, Jupiter predicts fewer than 100 of Europe's B2B markets will survive out of the 500 existing today.

To borrow from Bob Dylan: "The times they are a-consolidatin'."
