The article "Bagging Profits" and an accompanying chart in the April 2002 issue misstated supermarket giant Albertson's fiscal year reporting period. The article should have stated that Albertson's expects to trim $250 million in costs by the end of its fiscal 2002 second quarter, which ends in August 2002. A subsequent paragraph about improving sales should have referred to the third quarter of fiscal 2001, ended Nov. 1, 2001.

In an April letter to the editor from The Conrad Group, the firm's correct location should have been listed as Atlanta.
