I just want to send my support and appreciation for your editorial comments ("What We Stand For," June 2005). I couldn't agree with you more: Today's environment and era of social unrest has unfortunately broad-brushed all CEOs as corrupt, uncaring and manipulative.
The majority of CEOs today are truly passionate and committed to a broad range of constituents, ranging from valued shareholders, customers, associates, community and government officials, just to name a few.
I certainly support your offer to be the spokesperson and champion for Corporate America because Corporate America is nothing more than a group of corporate Americans who have demonstrated, year-in and year-out, a resilience and a commitment to the entrepreneurial spirit and corporate governance that exists in our companies and society today.
