404 best practices
Internal Auditor, April, 2006 by Thomas M. Smyth
James K. Seaman's "What Works Best" (February 2006) is a great article. Seaman's practical and effective application of best practices from Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley shows a real command of the internal auditor's role at Drexel University. Many of us were almost overwhelmed with the perceived depth and breadth of first-year Section 404 compliance. The approach Seaman describes is a tribute to his experience and knowledge of the internal audit profession.
