Making sense of reporting lines
Internal Auditor, April, 2007 by Archie Thomas
I would like to congratulate Lal Balkaran on an excellent article, "A Solid Reporting Line" ("In My Opinion," February 2007). It is very well written, hitting on all the right considerations for the chief audit executive (CAE) reporting line. I think this article would make a great tool for all CAEs to educate key stakeholders when trying to influence a reporting line change. I'm sure that I will occasionally quote this article, or provide a copy of it when I'm speaking or advising.
