NSA co-hosts reception for IRSAC

On November 16, NSA co-hosted a reception for the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council (IRSAC). The council, which comprises 22 members from the accounting industry, meets once a month with IRS officials to discuss substantive tax administration and accounting issues. NSA Past President Gary C.

Rohrs is the current IRSAC Chair. Other NSA representatives serving on the committee are Joan C. LeValley, Chair of the Federal Taxation Committee, and William F. Reilly. The reception is an annual event to honor the members of IRSAC. This year's affair, held at the City Club of Washington, was attended by private practitioners and IRS officials, including Commissioner Everson. It was an honor for NSA to plan and co-host the annual reception.
