Internet Interruptus - Brief Article

Training & Development, July, 2001

According to TechTV Radio's talk-show host Jay Whitehead, Internet interruptus refers to the way the Internet interrupts everything in your life, including work, thoughts, fitness, personal relationships, and even your sex life.

Whitehead recommends: "Do something to remind yourself that the Web isn't real life. Go on a date. Eat lunch with someone else at somewhere other than your desk and have a conversation. Send someone a handwritten note (laser-printed doesn't count)."
