The Internet is a tool: Work it, but don't let it work you. That's the mantra of mobile worker (and busy mom to two active boys) Sandy Yarchin of IBM Software Group.
Says Yarchin, "The Internet definitely helps me with work-life balance. It lets me to do most of my shopping at home in the evening or early morning. I buy everything from drugstore items to dog food to office supplies." Yarchin also bookmarks her favorite sites and saves shopping-list files for easy retrieval, That leaves her dinner hours, evenings, and weekends free to spend time with her kids instead of running errands.
