Compact and powerful, PictureTel Corporation's new videoconferencing unit is small enough to fit on a video monitor and features a built-in PC with a Celeron 566MHz chip.

The PictureTel 600 Series offers high-quality video and "FM-like" audio, and enables real-time collaboration through the company's new iPower architecture. Operation is handled via a simple point-and-click user interface, featuring an infrared wireless keyboard. The system lets users share spread-sheets, network files, or Web files.

Developed in collaboration with Intel Corporation and manufactured by Sharp, the PictureTel 600 Series is the company's second product offering. The successful PictureTel 900 Series was the first.
