The Handy of God - sermons via cellphones - Brief Article

Training & Development, July, 2001

A Berlin minister conducted a sermon via mobile phone in May, for which 1,300 young people--at last count--had signed up beforehand. The service took place in a church full of people and with wired worshipers. The intent was to interest young Germans in spiritual messages by delivering a short version to their Handys (cell phones).

It's popular with Deutsch kabelrundfunk jugendlichen (wired teenagers) to transmit brief messages back and forth on their Handys.
