Free software update offers great new call handling features, auto- detection of IP phones and powerful new diagnostic tools
OTTAWA, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- TalkSwitch(R), the inventor of the owner-friendly(TM) phone system for small and multi-location businesses, today announced the release of TalkSwitch management software version 6.10. This free upgrade adds a wealth of great new call handling features that improve performance and make TalkSwitch systems even more customizable, further simplifies the installation of IP phones and adds powerful new diagnostic tools.
This release represents yet another giant leap forward for customers. With 6.10, setting up a phone system has never been easier. Analog and even IP phones can be added in seconds. Simply connect them to the system and they are automatically detected. Configuration is nearly instantaneous. Additionally, a simple firewall test can be conducted to ensure the network is optimized for VoIP calling. This test can save hours of troubleshooting and is a huge benefit for do-it-yourself end-users, system administrators and installers.

Software 6.10 supports the new TalkSwitch extended warranty coverage. Customers can now opt to extend the warranty coverage period of TalkSwitch systems by one, two or four years. Extended warranties are available for any TalkSwitch VS system still covered by its original one-year limited warranty.
