Great Lakes Manufacturing Forum 2008 Will be Held in Cleveland July 9-11

CLEVELAND, July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The Great Lakes Manufacturing Forum will be held July 9-11 at the Cleveland Key Center Marriott, in Cleveland, Ohio. The Forum brings together leaders focused on promoting, enhancing and preserving manufacturing in the Great Lakes Region. Conference topics include: the image of the Great Lakes Region, innovation in manufacturing, the workforce and skills needed for manufacturing today and in the future as well as the borders and logistics requirements needed to succeed in today's global economy.
Registration opens at 11 a.m. on July 9.
The Forum is sponsored by the Great Lakes Manufacturing Council, a long-term relationship and collaboration of regional leaders committed to the growth of manufacturing and the Great Lakes Region.

Those attending the Forum will play a key role in developing a regional manufacturing workforce strategy that will provide a skilled, creative workforce that embraces innovation and entrepreneurship and readily adapts to change.
