New Management Team at Risdon

WATERTOWN, Conn., July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Risdon International, Inc., a major global supplier of cosmetics packaging, has named a new senior management team including a new president and a new executive vice president, announced group chairman Thomas Frater.
Eric Bigotte, currently Risdon's executive vice president of sales and marketing, has been appointed president of Risdon effective immediately.
Steve Pearlman, president of Risdon since 2001, will join Risdon's board of directors as vice-chairman.
Edwin F. Westfield III has been appointed executive vice president of finance and operations of Risdon, also effective immediately.
Jim Adams, previously vice president of Risdon's manufacturing in North America, has been named senior vice president for global manufacturing, which includes responsibility for Risdon's two factories in China.
"With this new team, we can better achieve our primary objectives which include the creation of innovative products and the ability to successfully assist our customers in launching their new brands anytime and anywhere in the world," said Bigotte.
Risdon supplies primary packaging components to the cosmetics industry including fragrance and cosmetics caps and closures, compacts, mascaras, lipsticks and lip-gloss.
The company has eight manufacturing facilities in North America and Asia: Middletown, New York; Watertown, Connecticut; Laconia, New Hampshire; Barrie, Ontario; two in Reynosa, Mexico and two in Suzhou, China.
