Heritage Capital Credit Corporation Retains New Auditor

PR Newswire,  July 9, 2008

WILMINGTON, Del., July 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Heritage Capital Credit Corporation (Pink Sheets: HCPC) today announced that it has rescheduled the completion of its financial audit due to the enormity of accounting work required of the Certified Public Accountants to cover the period of 2004 through 2007.

The Certified Public Accountants previously contracted to complete the audit needed to resign due to a lack of independence, in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). The firm has agreed to continue on as consultants for preparing accounting information and reports that will assist the new auditor in the preparation of the audited statements.

Gruber & Company LLC has been retained to conduct audits of the financials for year-end 2006 and 2007, as well as reviews of the financials for the first and second quarters of 2008.
