Omnia Group Funds New Foundation with $300,000

PR Newswire,  June 11, 2008

TAMPA, Fla., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Omnia Group, Inc., a leader in providing tools that create employee empowerment, partnership management and enhanced human resources value to operating managers, has established The Omnia Foundation, to provide tax-exempt organizations with management and personnel consulting services.

Foundation President John B. Caswell has seen nonprofits struggle with management issues such as selection of team members, be they employees, independent contractors or volunteers, team building, individual performance improvement and succession planning. Expert advisors in these critical areas are often outside the budgetary limits of a tax-exempt organization.

"We want to offer our expertise and services to those who need us but lack the financial capacity at this point," Caswell said. "The Omnia Foundation is initially funded with more than $300,000 in cash and kind to partner with these important organizations.

"We feel that it is time to give back to these groups dedicated to the improvement of our communities, both local and nationwide, by providing them with the resources they need. Our initial goal is to distribute one half of our starting amount by the end of 2008 to qualified tax-exempt organizations in the state of Florida. Our future plans involve expansion throughout the United States."

An authorized 501(c)(3) organization, The Omnia Foundation, Inc. is now accepting contributions and grant applications via its Web site, http://www.theomniafoundation.org/, or by calling (800) 656-7117.
