TMA May 29 Webinar Reveals How to Find Hidden Value in Distressed Assets

PR Newswire,  May 23, 2008

CHICAGO, May 23 /PRNewswire/ --

EVENT: "Blood from a Stone: Hidden Value in Distressed Assets"
Another in the TMA Webinar series sponsored by the Turnaround
          Management Association

DATE: Thursday, May 29, 2008, from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern

  DESCRIPTION:

There could be buried treasure if you dig deep enough, say this Webinar's panel, who are experts in finding liquidity in assets in distressed companies others overlook. They will lead a discussion of uncovering hidden value in assets that have fallen off the radar screen, as well as how to monetize, capitalize and leverage assets usually thought of as illiquid. A little used area, life insurance, will also be explained as a saleable asset in the estate, usually seen as just an expense.

Panelists will also tell how to maximize value in some of the usual areas tapped for extra cash in a Chapter 7 liquidation or Chapter 11 reorganization, such litigation, preferences, fraudulent transfers, D&O insurance and tax-related assets.
