InStep Software, a provider of real-time software systems and solutions, today announced that Progress Energy has implemented its PRiSM software to support Progress Energy's Centralized Performance Monitoring initiative.
InStep's PRiSM technology monitors Progress Energy's entire fleet of fossil assets to provide advanced early warning notification of potential equipment problems or failure. Using advanced cluster-based reasoning, PRiSM identifies process variations that would be virtually impossible to detect otherwise.
