ENERGY RESOURCE-19 May 2008-Growthink to Help IWC Assess Carbon Credit Value of Amazon Rainforest(C)2008 JeraOne - http://www.jeraone.com

Growthink today announced that it has been named advisor of record to International Wood Company (IWC), a global forestry investment firm.

IWC, which owns two million acres of rainforest located in the Amazon, has partnered with Growthink to develop an analytical model to assess the property's current market value and its potential to provide carbon credits to companies seeking to reduce their greenhouse emissions.

"Our work with IWC is just the type of highly sophisticated capital and advisory project that showcases our unique expertise," said Emily Burg, Growthink's director of strategy. "The two-phase valuation model we're developing for IWC informs the company of the current market value of its real estate assets. Most importantly, we can monetize the carbon neutralization capacity of two million acres of rainforest, through issuing carbon credits that can be traded via the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX). We estimate that IWC can provide as much as $300 million in carbon credits to companies seeking to reduce their carbon emissions."

Growthink currently provides advisory and capital services to approximately 12 companies developing alternative energy technologies. Visit www.growthink.com for information.
