San Antonio, Texas-based Sunrise Solar Corp. has named Maurice Stone as its new president.
Stone is the chairman of the Energy Committee of the National Black Chamber of Commerce and works closely with the Chamber's Public Policy Group.
He previously served as president of National Wind Solutions Inc. and chairman and CEO of Intrepid Holdings Inc., a retail clinic operation. Additionally, he previously served as CEO of Cornerstone Services Group, a retail pharmacy services company, and as chairman and CEO of First Genesis Professional Services, an IT development and solutions company.

His prior experience includes vice president of business development for Intelligent Medicine and chief operating officer of Telemedicine Solutions International, both telemedicine service providers. He spent the early part of his career in the information technology industry with IBM and Digital Equipment Corporation.
