Oncontact Software Receives Distinguished Award For 2002 Computerworld Honors Collection
Market Wire, April, 2002
Oncontact Software Corporation, a leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software for mid-market companies, today announced that its award-winning CRM implementation for Foremost Insurance has been chosen to become part of the Computerworld Honors Archive on Information Technology.
Oncontact Software's case study on the CRM implementation for Foremost Insurance will formally become part of the Computerworld Honors Archive at ceremonies being conducted on April 7, 2002 in San Francisco, California.
Foremost Insurance is the largest specialty insurance carrier in the U.S. and leads the industry in insuring products such as mobile homes, motor homes, travel trailers and specialty dwellings.
After deploying Oncontact's CRM system, Foremost was able to realize a very large return on investment and able to better serve their prospect and customers. Foremost calculated a return on investment analysis of the automated system and determined that the savings from reduced operating costs total more than a half million dollars in the first 12 months after implementing Oncontact's CRM system. The return on investment figure even includes the absorption of all expenses associated with the CRM system. After utilizing the Oncontact Software CRM system for 24 months, Foremost had a return on investment of approximately $1.2 million.
"The Computerworld Honors are presented on an annual basis to men and women around the world who have achieved outstanding progress for society through visionary use of information technology," said Patrick J. McGovern, Chairman of the Computerworld Honors Chairmen's Committee and the Founder of International Data Group.
After the award ceremonies of April 7, 2002 the case study of the Foremost CRM implementation by Oncontact Software will become part of the permanent collection at more than 150 libraries, museums, and universities worldwide that compose the International Archives for the Computerworld Honors Program.
"Oncontact Software is very pleased to receive such a distinguished award from the Computerworld Honors Program for the innovations we have been able to provide in the CRM industry," said George Kofman, president of Oncontact Software. "We are honored that the benefits we were able to help Foremost Insurance realize will be showcased in a permanent collection at more than 150 libraries, museums, and universities worldwide."
