Ignited Minds Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary With Six New Hires

Ignited Minds, a rapidly growing independent advertising agency in Marina del Rey, CA, today announced six new hires.

"The first of July marked our agency's five-year anniversary," said Eric Johnson, president, Ignited Minds. "We are pleased by our steady growth and the response of our clients who have enabled us to reach important agency milestones," Johnson stated.

Despite tough times for the advertising industry, Ignited Minds has seen billings rise 200 percent and increased staff size from 15 to 70 people to meet demand in just the past two years. The agency also added a diverse array of new clients including Levi Strauss, LucasArts, Shark Energy Drinks, 20th Century Fox International, Turner Sports (The Atlanta Braves), Loyola Marymount University, Namco Hometek, and the recently won consumer electronics e-tailer Newegg.com to a long-time roster of clients that includes Activision, Sony Electronics and The U.S. Army.

New Hires

Jessica McConnell was hired as Account Supervisor to manage the Activision account. She was previously at the Ayzenberg Group as Senior Account Executive.

Margie Johnson will continue to strengthen Ignited Mind's Interactive Group as Online Producer. She was previously at Media Revolution, where she served in a similar capacity.

Reece Hoverkamp and Prentice Howe have both joined Ignited Minds from The Motta Company, Los Angeles, where they served as Art Director and Senior Copywriter, respectively.

Callista Nurimba joins Ignited Minds as Senior Online Media Planner from OMD, where she held the position of Senior Interactive Strategist.

In addition, Michelle Mintz was hired as Print Production Manager. She comes to Ignited Minds from Giant Creative Strategy in San Francisco, where she served in a similar capacity as Production Manager.
