ENERmap and Petro Data Source Release Oil & Gas Wall Map Series of Rockies, Gulf, & Mid-Continent Regions

ENERmap and Petro Data Source Inc. (PDS) released their 2004 Oil & Gas Wall Map Set featuring three regional maps -- Rocky Mountains, Southwest & Gulf Coast, and Mid-Continent region. The maps show up to 700,000 wellspots symbolized by both oil/gas and production status. The detailed topography includes major natural gas and oil pipelines, major cities, towns, highways and water features and offers the viewer a powerful overview of each region.

Jason McMahan, President of ENERmap, described the map as a first of its kind. "Our relationship with PDS started when it became clear that there were no oil and gas well maps built on this kind of scale, with high-end cartography," explained McMahan. "Being confident there would be demand, we partnered to created our first map of the Rocky Mountains. Its success was beyond what we had hoped for... even in our most optimistic projections. Its demand prompted us to build maps for the other two regions."
